You’re tired of being the responsible one who can’t afford to “fall apart.”
Trying to think or “logic” your way out of stress just leaves you stuck in your head.
The stress feels physical—tight chest, that annoying knot in your stomach, or a jaw that’s permanently clenched.
And you’ve tried “just relaxing,” but your nervous system’s like, “Nope, not today.”
You’ve tried all the “self-care” tricks—meditation, deep breaths, hell, maybe even rage-cleaning—and you still feel stuck.
Maybe you feel guilty if you’re not over-delivering, over-pleasing, or over-caring.
You want to heal, but you’re over talk therapy that feels surface-level.
You don’t need a therapist who just nods and asks, “How does that make you feel?” You need someone who gets you—your humor, your anxiety, your need to feel like you can finally exhale.
Holistic therapy looks at all of you—not just your thoughts, but your body, emotions, and nervous system too. Because your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations are all connected:
Holistic therapy connects the dots between your mind and body, helping you release what’s been stuck, ignored, or buried so you can finally feel calm, grounded, and like yourself again
Relief That Feels Real: Your nervous system stops sounding alarms, and you finally feel calmer—mind and body.
A Quieter Mind: Less overthinking, fewer 3 AM spirals, and more space to breathe.
A Body That Lets Go: That tight chest, tense jaw, and aching stomach? They start to release.
Healthier Boundaries: You learn to say “no” without feeling like the worst person alive.
Feeling Like You Again: No more pretending you’re fine. You can be real and feel grounded.
Because surviving isn’t the same as living. Let’s get you unstuck.

I’ll explain what’s happening in your brain and nervous system
Real Talk, No Small Talk:
I explain things like a human being. Also? A little humor never hurt anyone.
We Get to the Root:
Whether it’s your brain running on overdrive or your body holding onto stress, we work through it—mind, body, and everything in between.

Holistic psychotherapy, also known as somatic therapy, focuses on mind/body healing. Holistic psychotherapy explores the impact of past experiences on emotional health, and focuses on bringing awareness to physical sensations. Holistic psychotherapy uses a range of techniques to help individuals release emotions, trauma from the body, break free from repetitive patterns, and achieve balance and self-awareness.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is not directly considered a holistic approach. While CBT is highly effective in addressing specific thought patterns and behaviors, it’s not the primary focus in holistic therapy. Holistic therapy takes a broader view and focuses on the whole person (including the person’s environment, past traumas, past joys, and present experience), rather than just focusing on thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through my work as a holistic therapist in Los Angeles, I have found that with somatic therapy, the actionable steps that CBT primarily focus on come intuitively.
In holistic therapy, we will work together and take into account not only the immediate concerns – but also your overall lifestyle, environment, and past triggers. This approach recognizes that our thoughts and emotions can impact our physical health, and vice versa. It acknowledges the influence of external factors, such as relationships, social support, and cultural beliefs, on our well-being.
We will also utilize mindfulness practices into our session – specifically focusing on somatic symptoms to help you identify your emotions and/or triggers. Practicing “in the here and now” awareness helps you develop a non-judgmental acceptance of your experiences. Mindfulness techniques can enhance self-awareness, help you identify your emotions, and support emotional regulation.
Holistic therapy is an approach to treating the whole person – and not just the symptoms. This type of integrative therapy focuses on treating the root cause of the problem, rather than just focusing on reducing the symptoms.
By utilizing a holistic approach, I collaborate with you to explore and identify underlying causes (considering physical, emotional, mental, genetic, social, and environmental factors). We will explore the function of the symptom to help you understand how or why these symptoms are manifesting in present day.
Research and studies indicate that holistic therapy is effective. If you want to know more about holistic or somatic therapy, you can check out Somatic Experiencing International.
