About Me and
My Approach
Hi, I’m Cheryl,! My passion is helping people pleasers, perfectionists, and anxious adults find their way back to themselves. If you’ve spent your life putting everyone else’s needs before your own, or you’re constantly overwhelmed by how loud your inner critic is, you’re in the right place. I know what it’s like to carry the weight of trying to be “perfect” and keep everyone happy—until you realize it’s just not sustainable.
I’m here to help you break free from those patterns – not by telling you to “just relax” or “think positive,” but by digging deep into what’s really going on underneath.
My approach is direct, collaborative, and deeply rooted in understanding how your past shapes your present. We’re not just going to talk about surface-level or small talk (cringe). I’m here to help you unpack the deeper patterns that keep you stuck. Together, we’ll explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and body… and how they all play into the anxiety, stress, or perfectionism you’re dealing with.
I believe in creating a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without the need to pretend everything’s okay. We’ll work together to change those old beliefs that tell you you’re not enough, and replace them with a sense of self that’s grounded in your true worth.
I’m not just here to listen—I’m here to help you take action. Whether it’s setting boundaries that stick, learning to say “no” without guilt, or finally letting relaxing that inner critic, we’ll make sure you’re not just talking about change but actually living it.
Inner Child Healing: We’ll connect with those younger parts of you that still need some love and care.
Reparenting: It’s time to give yourself the guidance and support you didn’t get growing up.
Parts Work: We’ll work with the different parts of you—the ones that are protecting, sabotaging, or just plain exhausted—and help them find a way to cooperate.
Mind-Body Connection: We’ll explore how your thoughts and emotions are affecting your physical health and vice versa.
Mindfulness Techniques: Incorporating practices like grounded self-awareness and mindfulness.
Personalized Healing Plans: Every session is tailored to your unique needs to create a plan that fits you.
Nervous System Regulation: We’ll get your nervous system out of fight-or-flight mode and back into balance.
Identifying Trauma Responses (4 F’s: Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn): We’ll identify and understand your trauma responses so you can start responding to life from a place of safety and empowerment.
Incorporating Neuroscience: I’ll help you understand how your brain and body work.
